Subscription & Refund Terms

These terms supplement the Terms of Service and govern paid Versepond subscriptions, provided by Versepond.

1. What a subscription gives you

A subscription unlocks premium features for the relevant scope — either a specific hymnal or all hymnals within the Hymnals line (“universal”). Entitlements are tied to your Versepond account and are honored across your devices and, where supported, the web — for the same account.

2. Payment

Purchases are made through Google Play billing in the Android apps. Additional payment options may be introduced in the future; this page will be updated when they become available.

Your entitlement is recorded against your account, and is recognized across Versepond surfaces (e.g. the apps and the web) for the same account.

3. Billing

  • All plans are one-time purchases: you pay once for a fixed period (e.g. 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year) shown at the point of purchase. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge.
  • Access begins at purchase and ends at the stated expiry date unless you buy again.
  • Taxes may apply depending on your location.

4. Renewal & cancellation

  • Because plans do not auto-renew, there is nothing to cancel — access simply ends at the expiry date. Buying again before expiry extends your access (the new period is added on top of your remaining time); it is not a separate recurring subscription.

5. Refunds

  • Google Play purchases are subject to Google Play’s refund policies. You can request a refund from Google, or contact us at mutzintl@gmail.com and we will consider your request in line with those policies, the laws of Kenya, and applicable consumer-protection law.
  • Refunds, where granted, may result in the corresponding entitlement being removed.

6. Changes to pricing or plans

We may change prices or plans for future purchases; we will provide notice as required by law and by the relevant store. Changes apply only to new purchases and do not affect a period you have already paid for.
